It's ridiculous but most chalk boards just have England vs Ghana on it and that's enough. I'm sure wording can be easy enough so anyone who wants to promote will be able to.
As if football fans don't know where to seek out matches.
I'm actually quite surprised that World Cup as a wordmark on it's own is considered by FIFA as intellectual property - considering we have many a World Cup across multiple sports.
Can confirm this from the document that's referenced in that video - I went to take a look because the video only showed graphic elements, so I thought that just using "World Cup" without any other reference would work.

Wording from FIFA is - FIFA encourages businesses and the public to use generic football or country-related images and/or terminology that do not incorporate any FIFA intellectual property.
Which to me, the only hard bit to get around is 'World Cup' - I'm not sure it has the same exclusivity around it that it can be considered IP like 'Olympics' can I would have thought
