FIFA 2026 WC - US Dumb shit

I don't mind this. I think the problem is more America feeling they need to change something the rest of the world loves

At the next WC they are going top put each player's religion on their jerseys so they can be more easily identified when being deported.
Don't be sad @melbcityguy I'm sure they wills till make holographic rookie cards. As long as people buy this shit, they will keep on churning it out... I winder what adds we are going to see during the 1/4 time breaks?

Don't worry the "halftime show pty ltd" is going to be 15 mins longer than any other non MAGA half time, don't mind the players cooling down and maybe destroying their careers by getting injured... its Coldplay.

I dunno what to say I'm part of the problem I would buy a irakundra debut shirt tbh if I had a opportunity but I'm not bothered about it either way.

Some of the prices for these games are absurd. $700 to go watch a group game between Haiti and Scotland?
The best is the $150 train ticket to go to the WC final that, 3 days before costs $12 return... HAHAHAAH to a stadium you cant walk too because there are no crossing son teh freeway.

Just a mirror thread to the general one with all the Americanisms that are gonna make this tournament a farce.. To begin with let me present you with "rookie badges".

What a crock of shit. Infantino is completely anti-football, his only interest is how much money he can make from it. And I'd be very surprised if he isn't profiting personally from all of this crass commercialism that FIFA are getting deeper into. Almost makes you pine for the older, simpler days of brown paper bags of cash being a FIFA staple. Although it's still probably done these days, but in crypto form.

I know right? Sepp Blatter looked ashamed when he was accused. I reckon old baby faced Gianni would clutch at the fake money with delight and cackle like pig in shit.

Coldplay being near a pro athlete increases the risk of cramp.

$530 AUD? Holy farkin shit....
I know and they're woeful. Let's just say and an extension of the apparel. If the tournament can get a few budding artists some promotion then it's OK but the PSG/ Air Jordan commercialisation is what bugs me. They want every cent from the virtual customer but people may not buy into the hype anyway.

If the target becomes the ultra wealthy like the Superbowl they risk alienating a massive part of the market. That's if they haven't already.
