Aussies abroad šŸŒšŸ¦˜

We're absolutely stuffed under Popovic in midfield. Irvine not 100% and technically inept. O'Neill one minute never played with paid but then Popovic said he's had an ankle issue for 2 years.

Remember Juric in 2018? Masked his injuries in order to play and was very underdone.

Midfield should be Devlin, Balard, Robertson, Yazbek.

Or Nisbet to do both, but we won't see him.
Josh Nisbet will likely be in the Socceroos playing list for the World Cup as a differential option or injury cover and his versatility in terms of being able to both protect and chase leads in midfield means that he can be paired with either tactical option in Robertson or Devlin from the bench.

Tete Yengi not in the Matchday squad for Machida Zelvia round 15 clash with Yokohama Marinos.
On I side note Machida's manager Go Kuroda is heavily tipped as Japan's next national team successor, we could do worse if available then have a sneaky crack.

For arguments sake, if both O’Neill and Yazbek both don’t recover in-time, who are you starting next to Irvine at the World Cup? Robertson, Okon, Balard, Leckie etc

it feels like it’ll be Leckie based off Popa’s sentiment in the interview but there’s a real lack of forward ball progression between Leckie and Irvine.

I’d prefer Robertson

I wouldn't have taken O'Neil anway. Cant defend or attack. Balard all the way for me
