What are you talking about we have Messy Rooney.... who needs some Atromito benchie. We have been spoikt for choice by the likes of Swibbel and Singh hahahah
Hr would dominate in our setup imo
Yeah like the great Dane and his 30-40% leap eh??? Take your hand off it, Ive seen the bloke in 3-4 highlights reels for Victory.... NPL defences would make him cry.Disagree, he would be unstoppable up top with our best team, he is 30 years old makes him only a year older than Sawyer, you'd never need to worry about him getting poached. His aerial presence alone would improve us by 20-25%

Stop being grumpy re... it would be a marketing coup none the less, logix dictates he would score way more than anything we have upfront currently and would be a differwnt strike to Manny allowing for versatility...as for npl defences dealing with him have you seen the hacks in the greek league that he had to avoid, break legs first ask questions later type of football we know too well... lolAwesome stats for a striker....![]()

That's an interesting observation you make. He did score a nice goal against Hume City, but most times he has played, he has failed to show anything that justified his signing. He was in all sorts against Hampton East Brighton in the Round 4 Dockerty Cup match. I think he may not make the cull. Only way he survives is that Aguek does not come back and we cannot find a suitable replacement. As much stick as he cops i do have a shred of sympathy for Singh because he has never been afforded the opportunity to play with our best team, scored a very nice goal against Hume but we were depleted that night. I'd be fascinated to see how he goes with our full compliment behind him but perhaps a risk we cant afford to take.
I think we'll be able to find a suitable replacement for Singh during the midseason transfer window but even if he isn't culled he'll be relegated to the reserves and probably be gone by the time the Australian Championship rolls around.Only way he survives is that Aguek does not come back and we cannot find a suitable replacement.
Marketing Coup? Swibel IS that big strong 6 yard box specialist #9 he just cant seem to play with his back to goal or to harass from the top like Sinisa wants... Manny would help that, or another pacy striking option ... If we get rid of Swibel for somone like that old Greek bloke you are all frothing over it might make sense otherwise we don;t need another "marque" Euro κουραδα.One of our glaring weaknesses is that big target to pick out in the box. For a team whose so good out wide at full strength it is one of our missing links.
Gutted that we may never see Sawyer play for South again, especially in this team. Just hope the club is ready to pounce on a Vergos type if Aguek falls through.
Not sure we can win silverware with the current options. As much stick as he cops i do have a shred of sympathy for Singh because he has never been afforded the opportunity to play with our best team, scored a very nice goal against Hume but we were depleted that night. He has come on against tiring defences on many occasions and been unable to make a run or hold the ball.... He is a young bloke and may very well become a better striker but is a luxury player for us now...That's an interesting observation you make. So he cant find a touch against 120kg CBs with fresh legs in OFC but is going to "do alright" in the NPL??? Sure whatever you say but I totally disagree.Specifically npl we've only seen Singh for a half against Hume, a half against Altona, has he appeared in any other games?
Goal difference will be nice but i'll settle for the 3 points tonight. If we win tonight we should only see Heidelberg and Oakleigh leapfrog us. By the end of ofc we should be no lower than 3rd. Failure to win tonight will be very problematic.
If we win tonight (assuming 1-0 win), we move to 24 points and a goal difference of +8. That ensures we remain top for one more week.Specifically npl we've only seen Singh for a half against Hume, a half against Altona, has he appeared in any other games?
