Overall I expected a bumpy ride at some stage this season, and early in the season was a likely time.

Galvin will improve, this isn't our strongest side.

If anyone saw reserve grade, how did Dykes go at fullback?
Glad your confident .. Why is Galvin kicking where is Burto spiral bombs ? The kicking game is ordinary

Some injury issue with Burto which we are managing,

I would not say i am confident, just that I hope we have some better players in th3 lower grades.

The coach and players are learning some long overdue tough lessons.

We just need to grind away, Thompson and Hughes pretty good.

Just try to pick the best 17 which shouldn't include Montoya.

As poor as we were tonight our two biggest hurdles were lady luck and the officials who were both against us. The Broncs took advantage of that fortune and soundly beat us.

Yeah hd, montoya let in at least three tonight.

If we simply are not good enough we need to cop that. Tracey is a fairly poor fullbsck.

Burto is contributing much playmaking at present,.

I am really surpised that played today, he was abysmal last week, he is the slowest winger in the game, he drops a lot if balls and his positonal play and anticipation are terrible.

Our bad players are putting pressure on our good players and the good players are doing a few dumb things.

I am not surpised that the season is going this way, this season will help Cirro learn what it really takes.

As i said before, many of our genuine top class players are playing flegg.

Sua was great, i hope Rinakama gets a shot next week.

The comp isn't won in April, but winning it starts in May.

Broncos were not going great this time last season.

We have got the Cows at home, we might get a few calls and their defence isn't great.

We need to win that game.

Seems we better off playing full strength teams. I'm actually thinking we could win next week against the Cowboys. If they're full strength at home we just don't seem to win with teams that have key players injured.

I think we knew what to expect this week.

We had patches of good play, but the patches of bad play really cost us.

Cut out the dumb errors, play with a bit more variety and energy in attack, we should win enough games to make the 8.

Sometimes the funk lingers on, sometimes one good win snaps a team out of it.

Thompson showed some promising signs.

Cirro is a bit confused, but a least he recognised a few players letting the team down.

I am almost desperate enough to try Burto at fullback, but if he does have a leg injury that is a bad idea.

Salmon at least tried to play the right style.

I was happy with Hughes and Thompson.

Criita should swap with Tracey at the opponents end as per last season.

In addition to Montoya, Tracey's passing isn't good enough.

Burto doesn't dig into the line, the contrast between Burto and Mann at 5/8 was stark. Burto offers plenty running the ball and that is another reason why we should play Critter at fullback in attack.

When we play well, the opponents don't have their winger in empty space.

People criticising Galvin and Haywood are clueless, they are young guys learning their trade. Burton and Tracey are far more experienced and a far bigger problem.

Tigers are now edging ahead of us because they have more quaility yoong players and they have energy for 80 mins.

The reason i still think we can turn it around is, we are getting a lot wrong.

We need our best passers Hayward, Galvin and Critter "on the ball" and heavily involved at the opponents end. Tracey and Burto should mostly stick to running the ball.

Could Critter do what Mann did? Well he is far more likely than Burto and Tracey. But regardless, our wingers were not in acres of open space and playing outside the slowest winger in the comp.

We have a left sided half at the club who can throw great passes, he is playing in flegg. Dykes was a class 5/8 abd fullback before all of the injuries. Woods can play left sided half.

If/when we have better replacements, Cirro mght need to make chsnges.

hd, something is not right at the club. I understand that there are a few players that require dropping or being changed out, but there is no cohesion in the playing group. Has ciraldo lost the dressing shed or are there ego issues between the players. Whatever the issue it needs to be sorted quick smart or this season is finished.

To be clear, I don't think Cirro is getting everything right, but we definately shouldn't sack the coach.

The early results last season, and the excellent win over Penrith 2 weeks ago, may have caused the coach, players and some fans to think that the side is better than it is.

We couldn't beat the better sides last season and we faded at the end of the season.

While the win over Penrith was excellent, it was the only full 80 minute quality performance this season. If we could repeat that most weeks, we win most games.

I expected something like the performance against Penrith against Parra, and I definately expected it against the Broncos.

We started well against the Broncos, they defended very well, but our attack was lacking something. IMO Thompson and Hughes were excellent, and should be the starting props every week. When he is available, King should come on after 15-20 mins.

We need more speed, class, and energy in the side young players are probably the best option. We have a lot of young players who we could try.

If a player who is normally excellent plays poorly 2 weeks in a row, drop the guy and give a young guy a run, especially in the forwards, and on the wings.

If we start seeing the side that played against Penrith every week with a bit more youth and enthusiasm we might have a good season.

It is too late to change how we play, we can change who is playing.

We have to question if some players are mentally tired, carrying too many injuries, or just lacking energy and focus. If a guy can't bring his best game every week, a stint in reserve grade could refresh him.

Harry Hayes is one of my favourite players, but he has been poor 2 weeks in a row. Give someone like AJ a shot.

ODF I can see why fans think that.

The main thing Cirro is doing wrong is, giving guys like Montoya too many chances.

I am not see a lot of evdience that the new attacking coaches have improved the attack.

I think our attack is better this season, but only due to Galvin and Preston, the rest of the attack is worse. I don't think Marhoney and Sexton added that much.

The coach and the players need to look in the mirror and realise the team is not as good as many assume we are.

The coach has to show who is in charge by dropping under performing players, or players carrying injuries, and giving some young guys a shot.

I don't want to see a team firing on all cylinders playing great footy at the back end of the season when we are no longer a chance to make the 8.

Now is the time to act.

If it turns out that the coach dropped the wrong players, he can quickly fix that, and more importantly all the players get the message.

The first guy to make a poor mistake that results in the opposition scoring a try is a candidate to be dropped. If 2-3 opposition tries or missed opportunities to score feature the same player, it shouldn't be a hard decision.

The best coaches make changes when changes are required. Many coaches who end up getting sacked stick stubbornly to whst isn't working.

The coach, the players and most importantly the fans, have to show that we are up for the fight.

I'm still backing Cirro and Gus, but they need to get more proactive.

I also don't mind if Toups can replace Kiks on the left edge and play 80 minutes or if those guys rotate in that position.

Spinks is the other option for left or right edge backrow at taste of NRL would be good for him.

I also don't mind Curran playing right edge backrow with Presto shifting to the left.

Like most other NRL sides we have good options to replace injured players.

The injured player count isn't the game, and no one is counting Woods, Todd and a few other guys.

This is the other thing we need more squad roation especially in the forwards. Short turn around or after an intense game, think about resting 1-2 players. The spine needs to form combinations, but occasionally giving a new guy a run is ok.

If Burto gets suspended i am interested in what we do.

We could try Critter at 5/8, we might try O'Sullivian or Dykes.

Conti and Teaupa are class havles, but a long shot.

Even if he is availlable Woods coming straight into NRL is a long shot.

I expect Burto to get a fine and I don't want to see O'Sullivan unless he has improved his defence.

Actually Burto and Kicks are not great defenders. So depending on what happens, our left side defence might even improve.

The hooker in Flegg Young is a gun attacking player who would really improve our side.

He would straighten up the attack, create opportunities at the ruck and throw passes to wingers similar to what Harry Grant does.

And he would also free up Hayward to play more lock, which is Hayward's best position.

Hayward could learn a lot from watching him play.

All of our halves could learn a lot from watching Teaupa play. Especially Burto.

Videos of good play in Flegg could be viewed by all grades.

Unfortunately the gap between Flegg and NRL is huge, but class is class.

I am very confident about our future options at hooker and in the halves.

Fullback is a bit of a work in progress, we do have 2-3 guys with potential.

I haven't given up on this season, but I don't expect guys playing flegg to save it.

The guys in reserve grade/injured who might be able to help are Cocherane, Rinakama, Dykes, Readon, Underhill, AJ, Spinks, DSF, O'Donnell, Woods, Todd.

I'm particularly interested in how Cocherane, Dykes and O'Donnell are going and when Woods will be back.
