General A Leagues thread (Men and Women) 2025/26 season

How should they capitalise on it?
if only it was that simple but for eg off the top of my head......
Mainstream media presented with more topics on his past to present performances.
If I was the APL I'd be doing short highlight reels in his chelsea/united days followed by his APL highlights - saying come to the games.
SM bombarded.
Get him to local functions/clubs appearances.
Some coaching clinics ?
Like is any of this being done ? possibly is ?
Is the FA and the APL talking to him about the issues he see's locally ? his thoughts/suggestions on improving our pathways ?
Would he be considered a advisory role for the game ? supporting the FA ?
Like why isn't he seen more as the role model ?
There is no one here with a status as such - 41 games for Spain.

Seems logical doesn't it? Fraser goes to Sydney ( if true ), Lolley and Fraser at Sydney together, unless they get rid of the useless front 3rd men they acquired up front ( Stama, Arslan, Campuzano ) would both of them fit under the cap?
Joe is linked to Macarthur and Perth. Stama’s on loan from Motherwell. Chances are Joe either stays or goes to one of those two while Stama goes back to Scotland and gets loaned out elsewhere unless they sell him given his underwhelming loan spell that doesn’t warrant the World Cup spot he wished for.

How many Swans or GWS players do you think are actually fans of the clubs they play for though?

How loyal are you to your employer? Would you NEVER consider getting a better job if it was offered to you?
Yes I'm happy for the player not having to change houses. But as a fan it's boring it's like oakleigh and south Melbourne swapping players every year.

Happens all the time matey, no big deal... The club is more than its players..... Players are just players... Some of them are loyal and bleed for the shirt, some dont... Don't let it phase you. Club above EVERYTHING.

But if the players don't care about the club and we care about the club it's not really a real connection is it? I know players will do what they need to do for their personal life but the suits need to make it so players can stay at their club as long as possible it's my opinion

All you can control is what YOU can control... Players that play for your club are your players until they cease to be and then they are either nice guys that deserve a a better chance at a better club and career or hacks who you never wanted at your club anyway and good riddance....

The club should be MORE than a 90 min match day experience. When you stand in the terrace waving your limbs around after a goal or burying your face in your hands after a near miss ... everone around you doing the same thing THATS the club... not the players, or the suits but the poor souls who, like you, cant live without watching those 11 lads kick a ball around once or twice a week.
