No, that's it. A 2 game window.
Now all the Socceroos are released back to their clubs to see out season 2025-26 or mid-season 2026 in the case of the single calendar year leagues, then the next time we see them in action will be in warm-up fixtures before the World Cup proper gets underway in June.

If he is over 21, I thought it locked him in for good? But I think that's only in the case of one of the caps being an official competition outside of the World Cup / Asian Cup finals
oh thought if he was over 21 and its a friendly meant being locked in for 3 years (soccerwhos)

I've had a look through the doc again - the only references to 21 years old relate to those who have played an A international in official competition aged 21 or younger - so I don't believe this locks him in yet for anything. Even being picked in the squad and playing the Mexico friendly (but not a minute of World Cup football) wouldn't lock him in.

Two more friendlies will (this was his second match, I believe?) or playing in an official competition match (seeing as he is over 21, it's regardless whether it's a finals tournament, or a qualification match) will lock in permanently.

For a player that has played friendlies at A level, and nothing else, they need to meet all the below criteria to change:

He has played in three friendlies (Ecuador, Argentina, Curacao) so one more appearance in any game (friendly, qualifier, WC or Asian Cup) will lock him in. And he would have to wait three years from now to change anyway.

Chong - played 5 games for Manchester Un.
Now with Sheffield Un.
Tahith Chong is also the only one who was born in Curaçao. He was born in the capital of Willemstad back when Curaçao was part of the Netherlands Antilles which dissolved in 2010.
