Jason Steele is also likely the oldest player in the England playing list at 35 years of age, and has not received a callup since the London 2012 Olympics in addition to not playing altogether in the Premier League this season.

It'll be interesting to see how Germany go against Switzerland. Sane starting despite terrible form and questionable fitness.

England look like South Korea from a distance in the red kit. No Pickford or Kane so they must respect Japan a lot.

Germany ended up winning 4:3 but I think Switzerland and Italy can walk the Canada Qatar group.
 
Fair bit of rotation for Japan with bigger names on the bench waiting for England next week. Scotland with a reasonably strong 11.

Canada have some good players and will be at home but yeah Italy and Switzerland are tough. Qatar will finish last and be eliminated but watch half their squad be foreigners lol.

Canada losing 2:0 to Iceland at home right now. Surely they don't sack their coach but they're on shaky ground.
