Someone who wants to play for Australia. It's definitely not someone who jumps ship at the first opportunity.

NB: I'm referring to playing for Australia, not being Australian in general.

With Triantis's it is not the case - he and his brothers always chose Australia. He never had any intention of Greece - the whole family was Australia obsessed. Something happened in camp - probably with Popovic but possibly with Okon. Having spoken to the family for years I refuse to believe there was not more to it.

Harry Souttar wasn’t getting picked for Scotland though. Fran Karačić wasn’t near getting picked for Croatia. I think Scotland considered Martin Boyle but didn’t do it. Bruno Fornaroli’s dream to play for Uruguay was impossible so he got a couple Socceroos caps.

The boys all seemed to come through syd Olympic. Ccm trialed most of them and their mother always talked about them playing for the Socceroos. I suspect that Syd Olympic fans

Yes. He was known as a awful man manager at CCM. He claims he was 'mutually terminated'. The CEO doesn't drive from the Central Coast down to your place late at night to 'mutually terminate' you. And then you don't threaten to sue the club for 'mutual termination'. Player's expected to turn up in club colours while her pranced round in a Marconi jacket.

So they treated the Socceroos shirt like the fat ugly chick left at the end of the night that nobody else wanted.....

I think Harry Souttar definitely would’ve been capped for Scotland had he not chosen us instead.
