Women's Asian Cup match discussion thread

The Matildas' starting XI for our last group stage match against South Korea has been named. Mackenzie Arnold returns between the sticks as one of five changes made to the playing list from the 4-0 win over Iran, with Sam Kerr leading the line as captain and Hayley Raso dropping out of the matchday squad altogether.

Iran playing the Philippines in their last group A match which kicks off at the same time as the Matildas' game against South Korea to get Women's Asian Cup matchday 3 underway. All matchday 3 games between today and Tuesday, when the group stage concludes, will be simultaneous kickoffs.

Wot time does the game kick off?
All the games are kicking off at 8pm AEDT for Women's Asian Cup matchday 3, with simultaneous kickoffs for the last matchday of the group stage meaning that Iran's last group A game against the Philippines will be played at the same time as the Matildas' one against South Korea.

I'm still not sure if we need to win this but I'd love to beat Korea
The Matildas' last group stage match against South Korea is winner takes all and will determine who tops the group, which will be pivotal in deciding the knockout stage permutations as top of the group gets all matches through to the grand final at Stadium Australia whereas second place has to make the long trip west for games at HBF Park and Optus Stadium.

I swear every ref is from Japan lol.
Yoshimi Yamashita from Japan the referee for the Matildas' last group A match against South Korea, with both assistant referees and the fourth official also from Japan. Jumpei Iida from Japan assumes VAR responsibilities for a second straight Tillies game, with Meshari Al-Shamari from Qatar AVAR for today's match.

Kinda off topic but all the Elders I’ve met told me that we shouldn’t clap after the Welcome to Country.

Matildas returning to their home green and gold 'lime Splice' strip, with South Korea in their neon red kits. Mackenzie Arnold in the purple keeper strip for the Tillies, as has been the case for all group stage matches throughout our Women's Asian Cup campaign.
