A-League Mens 25/26 - Round 18

WSW played some great football in the first half with a goal and hitting the post and cross bar as well but in the second half their composure evaporated and they stood off Auglah in the box for his well taken goal. They did move the ball well for Ibusuki's goal but when Ngor and Blair pressed them they became rattled and for the last 20 minutes the Mariners controlled the game.

The Bulls have really cancelled out the Jets attacks, 0-0 so far but i think we will be lucky to see 1 goal the wat things have gone so far.
Crowd wise looks small maybe 9 or 10k tops.
Yeah they were really physical and body checked the jets a lot. They also countered quick and long, it made the Jets fullbacks stay back and not get as forward as much as they usually do.
I think that was Natta's best game, one dodgy pass, but otherwise he was POM for me.

Newcastle has always been a big sporting town & football has always been a big part of it, Newcastle KB united in the NSL were well attended & the Jets during the early part were well attended when they had success & now again they are looking good again.
Early on, I think there was a season or two where they were 2nd only to MV for memberships.

Newcastle are also home to the oldest football clubs in the country.

Adamstown Rosebud was founded in the 1880's.
