3 minutes of added time wasn't it?Or 80 or 90. How long did we get to see two strikers under Popovic?

Can't stand hearing some podcasters suggest Leckie has a shout due to his position change. For the love of god his experience isn't all that valuable compared to the skill of the next generation. Our front 3 at the last World Cuo was Goodwin, Duke, Leckie.
Our front 3 is likely to be some combo of McGree, Toure, Irankunda. I'm hoping Segecic.
I feel like it's a small but important shift from AL level to a Championship quality frontline.
I very much think Duke will be on the plane. He is the perfect guy to come on with 20-30 mins to go to defend form the front when protecting a lead when someone up front tires. He still has a role. Our front 3 at the last World Cuo was Goodwin, Duke, Leckie.

Last World Cup he was the only person who could do a good job as a lone central striker and he filled that role well (or better than anyone else we had). I think you have identified the role he could fill this world cup and like you I think he will be part of the 26 for this reason.I very much think Duke will be on the plane. Our 3 "A League level" forwards each scored at the last WC against France, Tunisia and Denmark, and forced an own goal from Argentina off a Goodwin strike in the round of 16. In fact, this 2022 forward line is the 2nd most potent of all our WC campaigns, scoring only 1 goal fewer than the GG in Germany in 2006. And 2 of the 4 matches we played in Qatar were against the eventual finalists. Credit where credit is due.Our front 3 at the last World Cup was Goodwin, Duke, Leckie.

I'm with youTake my post as bullish of the new guys rather than critical of the last mob.

Wouldn't mind that - could be the closest hit out we can get to replicating USAMexican sources saying they have 3 friendlies lined up including Australia

Columbia, Cameroon and Mexico is good preparation.Wouldn't mind that - could be the closest hit out we can get to replicating USA
Especially if the lines are chopped up just rightColumbia, Cameroon and Mexico is good preparation.
Yes, and still room for one more over in the States/Mexico just before the tournamentSo a minimum of 3 friendlies lined up for us
I was thinking more that this is good preparation for Paraguay, but maybe US too.Wouldn't mind that - could be the closest hit out we can get to replicating USA
Didn't even think of that - 2 birds one stone as they say. Perhaps we can get a UEFA nation for a second friendly over there? I'm just trying to think who is most like Turkey that has already qualified (assuming of course they win the playoff).I was thinking more that this is good preparation for Paraguay, but maybe US too.
