Sign Up Now!Does Frank get the sack?
It's wild to me that Frank is doing worse on every metric, yet everytime they talk about his failures at spurs they always mention "he is a great coach who has done great things at Brentford". The playstyle is shit, the results are shit, performances are shit, the fans hate it, the players don't respect him yet the UK media admire him, and some even calling for patience. No, he's a smarmy Scandi, which the British media love.
For all the Ange fans, it's been a good season of hate watching so far.
and who else is loving it more than anyone - bloody Levy.I'm loving every minute. A car crash x2.

I have found the discussion around styles of football suiting some clubs and not others. Thomas Frank being a prime example. His style of football suiting a mid table club who aren’t expected to dominate and win every game. Despite being “successful” at Brentford, his style of football has not suited Spurs at all. Spurs are expected to dominate and win most games.
Similar things being said about Oliver Glasner. It makes sense but to be honest, I’ve never really thought about it until this season.
I heard a comment based off this on the Greek sports news last night after Rafa Benitez's massive flop against AEK... One bright spark said Rafa was indeed driving a Ferrari like Jose..... but at the Rally Acropolis...Jose Mourinho likened managing an elite team to driving a Ferrari. You have to have the balls to manage the ego's in the dressing room more than anything else. He won lots playing a more defensive style.
A lot of these managers like Frank & perhaps Glasner who are students of the game and tactical nerds do not carry the aura. The big time players don't respect them and never will.
Ange had never walked the same hallways as Pep & Jose but he had the charisma and man management skills to keep the players captivated and on his side.
It's going to be hilarious when Spurs come to Sydney for that "Sydney Super Cup" exhibition game thing. You just know someone is going to ask about Ange. For all the Ange fans, it's been a good season of hate watching so far.
