Fair call. He's just got to be quicker. Recent games he always wants to draw a foul and slows any attack.

I think that's the best deployment for some players. They're better against a tiring opposition. Irvine will start but a fresh Irvine to hold onto a lead would be invaluable. He came on once and the tiring opposition had no chance against his alertness.

He hasnt had a lot of consistent football for a few years and is starting to get into more of a rhthym now in his second season. Im open minded even his defensive stats improve
 
The text above is in house propaganda. When would the Socceroos site every critcise a player? Hrustic is a fine football on his day but remember the last game where he just decided to back into the man chasing him trying to win a free kick? It stifled any attack. Stilly overly cautious play.
 
He basically cruelled the Silvera RWB experiment and probably his chances for the squad by his lazy and insipid performance in front of him.

Storming off after Argentina was bad. I counted and had 25 players applauding the fans post game. Maybe he came back out off camera. I want him to succeed but he can't get the chance and then just trot around. He's got a great boot so he needs to go for it.

yeah I agree with this. I paused when Silvera had the ball and Hrustic was never providing a passing lane which meant Silvera had to either try a miracle play or pass backwards?

Started on the weekend v Doncaster. Then was one of best on ground starting 4 days before that.

These are his first starts in a while so better signs. Hoping that he starts to dominate soon with more starts. If he is as talented as we all hope he is then he should be starting to boss this level.
