You want a lazy non-tackler in the #6 role?Think Hrustic is playing himself well into the world cup squad contention. Is not dynamic enough for a inside forward role and takes the Teague/Okon-Engstler role if you ask me.
Please noHrustic to be called up and be lazy again. Bloke is a phantom.
Fair call. He's just got to be quicker. Recent games he always wants to draw a foul and slows any attack. To be fair his mediocre club form wasnt different to his nt form
If he has better club form maybe we see a different hrustic?
He is playing in a double pivot not an inside forward mind you
his defensive stats don't make pretty reading to be honest. Maybe a 60 minute sub to play as a cm if we are chasing the gameYou want a lazy non-tackler in the #6 role?
Brave man.
I think that's the best deployment for some players. They're better against a tiring opposition. Irvine will start but a fresh Irvine to hold onto a lead would be invaluable. He came on once and the tiring opposition had no chance against his alertness.his defensive stats don't make pretty reading to be honest. Need to produce 2 Jackson Irvines to do something like that hahaI think that's the best deployment for some players. They're better against a tiring opposition. He plays deep for his club? 1.91 tackles per 90 in the Eredivisie. You want a lazy non-tackler in the #6 role?

He hasnt had a lot of consistent football for a few years and is starting to get into more of a rhthym now in his second season. Im open minded even his defensive stats improveI don't need to look at stats. I've shouted at his laziness too many times for the Socceroos.
Storming off after Argentina was bad. I counted and had 25 players applauding the fans post game. Maybe he came back out off camera. I want him to succeed but he can't get the chance and then just trot around. He's got a great boot so he needs to go for it.Hrustic has been massively disappointing ever since his fabulous free kick against (I think) Japan a few years back.
He's a luxury player decent with free kicks but too lazy for my taste.
yeah I agree with this. I paused when Silvera had the ball and Hrustic was never providing a passing lane which meant Silvera had to either try a miracle play or pass backwards? He basically cruelled the Silvera RWB experiment and probably his chances for the squad by his lazy and insipid performance in front of him.
Started on the weekend v Doncaster. Then was one of best on ground starting 4 days before that. When did he last start a game?
