My observation, with no dog in the fight other than respect for the individual, is that Mono has an opinion on a lot of things and at least as far as the comments I have read seems to have the experience and knowledge sufficient to have a considered opinion on many matters.

He also loves to discuss differing views, and will give and take as much shit as each thread warrants - as often crossing the line of common decency as others cross it towards him. In his defence, I see others engaging in mockery before he returns fire unless it is one of his long term sparring partners.

Mono openly proclaimed long ago how addictive he finds posting in this forum. His range of views sees his influence across the forum widely, where others (like me) restrict their addiction to a few threads of specific interest.

Whether people agree or not with the opinions he voices, it seems ridiculous that anyone would be targeting him for expressing more of them than others have.

Madre de Mono! Is that something to fight over? He has never said "I post more so I am better" - that mockery has been crafted by others.

Thank you my brother in football. Respect given where respect is earned.

Happy to give as much, or even slightly less as I take... its all just an opinion.

You'd know a lot of lies & half truths, you like to play the victim & throw accusations of lack of education & racist & that there is an ethnic cleansing, every time you don't agree with someone's post.
You call yourself an Aussie Greek, but criticise (half the country still jerking off coming 11th), our last performance in the world cup, where we won as many matches as in all our previous 6th world cups put together, yeah good reason to jerk yourself, to come in the top 16 in the world like we also did in 1974 & 2006 is a tremendous effort for a non footballing nation, but no, that wasn't good because it was A-League players that created that performance.
You keep harping about no connection with 99% of clubs with A-League clubs, yet so many times I have shown that the A-League has connection (not enough I agree) with many associations around the country.
Like I said I have sympathy that your club is not in top tier of football as your club has great history, but even as you say in your post (biggest rivals are a fellow Greek team and a Croatian team), there are some clubs that are still perceived that way & I for one have explained why I would not follow a club like that, but that does not make me a racist, uneducated or want ethnic cleansing like you & your cohorts Including Sam's son) on here would like to think.

Mockery by some is some kind of badge of honour that I for eg rate very low and a mirror of themselves.
One or 2 especially stand out as gold medalists in their own lunch time good luck to them.

I can say my Liverpool mates aint talking to me about PL anymore.
Salah not happy, Slot unable to keep his best player happy. Salah may be out of form, but can't blame him for Liverpool shipping in 3 goals against Leeds (averaging 1 goal per game bangs 3 against the champions) can't be the fault of a forward?
I'm loving it mate.

robbos, I'm not sure this relates to the current discussion regards to here in GG.
As for LFC like you we've been around a long time following our beloved game and some of us behind specific clubs.
You've been waiting some years to be loving it towards your mates enjoy it thats all that matters though they should be talking because we have ridden a wave for years sooner or later it disapates what goes around comes around.
 
just had it explained to me that the reason they call it english breakfast tea in England is because there is "scottish breakfast tea"

is there "full scottish breakfast" too then?

curiously ireland seems a bit invisible in southern england. Haven't met an irish person or had anyone talk about ireland apart from the occasional media article which tends to portray it as a failed state lol

From my experience travelling, a Full Scottish Breakfast has haggis (not joking).

Full Irish breakfast has white pudding - which is a sausage meat patty.

I loved my 'big' breakfast options when travelling in the UK and Ireland.

had a passionate debate with a phd student about how i thought german breakfast was the best in the world (he was going to a conference there and I was excitedly telling him about hotel options and how incredible their breakfasts were) he was pretty adamant that English food was the best in the world. This was the first time I've heard English food defended before and I was shocked haha.

English pub food made traditionally is actually pretty good to be fair
