Why the fuck is there a skit with kids teaching Rio how fucking complicated this draw is

I think hosts are in groups A, B and D because there's FIFA constraints that stipulate that there has to be at least one top four team in the rankings for every three groups.

Yeah this could be it actually - because I took a look at the knockout fixtures, and it would actually make more sense (if the premise was to keep the 3 host nations separate) to have A, B and C

I know the procedure but for anyone else it was way too colourful and confusing. Infographics needed.
 
So little reminder, those top 4 (Spain and Argentina, France and England) will be forced into separate halves of the draw:

Groups E, F, I
USA, Groups G, H
And
Mexico, Groups C, L
Canada, Groups J, K

So I actually read the knockouts wrong when I thought it made sense to use A, B and C - it didn’t.

Yes, but why is Rio the skit - gives that vibe we spoke about earlier - he is running the draw, he should know it
 
Streams all on different times. Enjoy. I'll definitely be off during pot 2. The first 85min gave me as much chest pain as the draw.
 
While all the dust is about. Cities where teams will play and potential knock out clash will appear. A lot to take in.

The match scheduling will be a separate broadcast the day after the draw, with the fixture details to be released as part of that.
 
German TV listed the cities they'll play in and got it wrong!

Is that what stadiums too or just kick off dates and times. The wiki surely isn't accurate like past tournaments but I saw a E1 assigned for 3 specific games.

Stadiums and dates are assigned, but not kick off times
 
My clubs are famously late in draws. Australia average I guess with some early groups and 2006 we had to wait longer.
