Alen Stajic speech on Australian football

Oh my
Just who are living or stating to stay in the 80’s
Seriously - going back posts way back mixed in the dribbling behaviour.

I don't recall anyone saying about replacing the AL.
Its its own entity and lives by its own sword thats what they wanted and got.
The only comodities that replace like for like are whitegoods/cars etc never known a sport having as such.
Point in the big picture one day the game itself needs to get aligned so all invested parties/Feds etc work under the same banner same objectives as a rolling competition top to bottom.
IF that doesn't incl the exisiting AL club owners agree who knows talking the top league but no matter what it will survive and rebuild.
The sleeping giant is big enough to recover incl gaining sponsers/broadcasting.

Ill add that to my list
I want to follow Aussie clubs whether they are traditional or not.
I don't really want to follow clubs who still chant another country's name during the games and others that like to show which side of WW11 that they grandparents.
And clubs who's biggest rivals are other ethnic clubs who are rivals because of border disputes in Europe.
I want to watch football played by Australian clubs that embraces the multi-cultural country that we are.

Which is why the ALeague is perfect for people like you.

Its a bit rich to expect the other 99% of clubs in Australia, a massive majority who are, as you describe, rivals because of border disputes in Europe, to follow it as well though..

Traditional or not - thats it.
The clubs dna is multi cultural as mentioned and they all luv Oz and their club roots, many Oz born kids aspire and luv to play for these clubs like a badge of honour here not about abroad - lets not forget they all have SAP/YL etc, its the next level above local grass roots.
Most today are not greek/italian/Cro etc backgrounds its multi cultural as mentioned.
The political mention is minority small % causing conflict that gets acted on no diff to the active issues in AL.
Moving forward all can live with that barring the small % rogues who cause conflict at NPL grounds.
FA and Clubs act on this more and more it can tone down - not that its OTT in the first place.
Don't recall any issues recent Championship for eg.

This is exactly what Alen Stajic was saying.
It's not perfect, far from it, the A-League has lost it's way.
However, I was there on Sat night & the atmosphere was electric, he was right it was a very good game played like any Derby anywhere in the world.
The Matilda's punch above their weight to come top 4 in the last world cup & in Sam Kerr, we have one of the best players in the world, but she is much maligned.
The Socceroos reached the last 16 in the last world cup & won more matches than any other Socceroos side in the history of the WC.

Are they the perfect sides? NO!!!!! But hellve a lot better than Italy.

There is so much positives about our game, some like to say the AFL/NRL are not worried about anything outside of their Heartland, what a lot of poppycock, they have spent so much on NSW & QLD for very little return, they have tried China & NZ. The NRL are trying to build up the int'l scene with Tonga & Samoa. But we have the football everywhere.
Much prefer what Stajic says than some of the negative posters on here.

Like I said Ad Nauseam mate, it's boring, we have had this discussion so many times.

I can tell you my club nor any clubs in my association nor in my previous association are rivals due to Border disputes in Europe.
Some people in Melbourne do live in a bubble & thinks that the rest of Australia is the same.

Your wasting your time... Apparently our South Sudanese striker and Japanese AM are in a European border dispute with Marconi's Canadian winger and Australian goalkeeper.. Its all as relevant as Pauline wearing a Burka in the senate the other day....

I think it can't connect more than losing its way.

Sadly her own worst enemy but yep right up there with the best on the W side of the ledger.
Makes you wonder why again I'll say the connect - why isn't the W game growing at Pro level.
The Socceroos reached the last 16 in the last world cup & won more matches than any other Socceroos side in the history of the WC.
yep and we want more - common outlook followers of all their NT's.

low punch mate but they got more stars than most :)

No doubt he said how it is - about time someone did, wish it occurred long before.

Would you be able to tell me which clubs you think are rivals becuase of border disputes or what side of WW2 they palyed for. ANYWHERE in Australia... its all pretty new to me.

They're a strange mob down in Victoria.

Great city sure but the problem is its full of Victorians.

I wouldn't fuck you while your alive what makes you think I'd even stop to piss on you dead ?

Delusions of grandeur as well as plastic? What a winning personality combo.
You really a thick cunt are you?

All this kicked off as you are unable to understand figure of speech and nuance.

I get it you're a bitter angry old man that your monocultural social club is no longer in the top.flight.

20 years is a long time to hold a grudge.

Time to forgive and forget, you'll be a happier person for it.

tsk tsk tsk, figure of speech and nuance? Pull the other one

And its Monoethnic you uncultured little bogan sheep shagger, at least get your vile slurs correct. .
Stajcic's speech lobbed a grenade at those within the game who continue to rubbish the league in this country (eg. NSL bitters and Eurosnobs). The time has come to be positive about the A-League. The in-fighting has to stop and has to stop NOW.
Like I said to you before, you can shove your plastic ALeague far up your arse.

How have you got through life being a bitter angry old man?

And the irony is that our good friends really want to be in the A-League, yet still shit on it and hope for its demise. Conflicted much?
Conflicted?? Who said we want to be in the AL? Join this decade perhaps! That was made a non option by YOU, we accepted and moved on! Now we couldnt give a fuck even if you try tell us to!

Last time I checked I've never been to New Zealand in my life.

If you hate Anglos and bogans so much you know where the airport is.
