It’s been debunked that the expiration-date means pro/rel can’t be introduced before then; even fvcken Gallop admitted it. So no, we’ve got 9(soon to be 8) more years of holding these cvnts’ feet to the fire until they do the right thingThe current licences of A league teams expire in 2034 I think it is?
From then on we will have Promotion and Relegation.
Will everybody be happy then?
I really don't think I do... much anymore. I mean when its being compared to what I am watching sure Ill defend the NPL and my club, but I dont think I purposefully go to Aleague threads to shit on them - Western United the deserved exception... hahahahahExactly, so what good is there in continuously shitting on the Aleague?
Why not make it 2044?The current licences of A league teams expire in 2034 I think it is?

Has it been debunked? I haven't seen anything as such? It’s been debunked that the expiration-date means pro/rel can’t be introduced before then; even fvcken Gallop admitted it. So no, we’ve got 9(soon to be 8) more years of holding these cvnts’ feet to the fire until they do the right thing![]()
You keep repeating this like you believe it to be true? Why? The Aleague is a closed off franchsie league who would want to lose their team to a souless bullshit foreigtn investment scheme like that? And the irony is that our good friends really want to be in the A-League, yet still shit on it and hope for its demise. Conflicted much?
Would have loved to been on social media when Victory got 50k to a regular season game, WSW 60K and so on.I really don't think I do... much anymore. If you are talking about having ambition to play int the highest league in the country, thats another conversation all together and something pretty much every single football club in the world is trying to achieve. .. Aleague has only been the "top league" for 20 odd years, it wont be around forever and hopefully whatever follows is beneficial to some to both the old clubs and some of the new ones.
Ok, so let’s say the A-League “dies” and something similar to the Championship replaces it. The money isn’t there. SBS are broadcasting games for free, there’s no major sponsor, crowds are mostly in the hundreds, a few in the thousands. The majority of teams can’t afford to pay their travel costs, the FA paid for it. I’m not shitting on the Championship, I’ve been following all the games, it’s been really enjoyable. But let’s be realistic. If the A-League died, there would be nothing to replace it. The money just is not there. You keep repeating this like you believe it to be true? Why? That's where I get confused. Like I understand their perspective but it doesn't leave any realistic alternativesOk, so let’s say the A-League “dies” and something similar to the Championship replaces it. The money isn’t there. Someone on SokkahTwitter put up scans of the relevant documentation a couple of months back; I CBF’ed trawling through it all to find it now, sorry. Do your own diggingHas it been debunked? I haven't seen anything as such?

Brother, an end of season shits and giggles money grab isnt losing your club. How many Aleague teams send their NPL squads to compete in reginal invitational tournaments? ..Brother,
Brother OFC Pro League and South Melbourne Hellas say hello!
There already IS something to replace it and it can start next year... The Alegaue clubs are already playing in the NPL pyramid and all that is required is the Championship to become full H and A in 2026 and the FA to develop a fair and equitable way to promote/relegate from the federation level to a national one... All it takes is good will.Ok, so let’s say the A-League “dies” and something similar to the Championship replaces it. The money isn’t there. The "realistic" alternatives have been presented, have been modelled by volunteer groups, have been discussed on these threads add nauseam... People who DONT want unity will never "understand" or even want to... modest growth but unified and fair. That's where I get confused. You can never MAKE a soccer competition become an entertainment product or an investment portfolio through sheer willpower alone...
All the massive leagues around the world (and even AFL/NRL locally) that have what you all crave developed into these massive financial empires over decades of grass roots growth/ not despite it... The Aleague may very well one day get to the same lofty heights but by the time it reaches the economic stability and viability oif say a league like the French league today, The French league will be broadcasts throughout the solar system and away days for it will be in Mars and Jupiter.
Ill add that to my listAd Nauseam!!!!
