seems like our go too when we got no one else, he has saved us a few times. Loves the club, players love him. He understands what's expected, so it's a good start.

i believe this is his 2nd or 3rd coaching stint with us.

It was under him that Sydney united reached the Australia cup final if I’m not mistaken, hopefully for your sake he’s able to steady the ship

Correct.

We also reached the 2019 GF against APIA & Waratah Cup Final against Marconi.

Not all about money. I mean no offense as Sydney United have an amazing history but what is happening at Sutherland seems like a way better project than what is happening at Sydney United. That’s the short version.

FYI - Sydney United never approached Perko.

Spent fuck loads in 2024 to sit 13th, and will spend double to make finals, amazing project.

It’s taken Sutho 20yrs and more to finally do something mind you about bloody time.
Let’s see maybe they’ll do a much much poorer LFC next season haha

Expected nothing less with the new coach coming in.... smart business from preston so far, but the icing wouldve been trajceski i think!
 
Preston have already signed Tavere aswell and more to come over from Avondale. It’ll be interesting what happens with the Avondale coach. He’s clearly not up to it yet but probably played a big role in getting Bruno Fornaroli over the line

Primarily, loss of the coach and the cohesion that came with it for so long, the Germano attempt was a miserable failure, as was the waste of money that was fornaroli... they still have some quality talent but it seems they losing more and more of it everyday and getting more in is not going to be easy even if you have deep pockets!
