That's disgusting how they've inflated the prices. I guess no surprises though. I was there in '06 and I reckon I was buying Cat 3 tickets for about $40!Managed to get a timeslot the other day for the current fifa lottery sales phase. Purchased the Australia tst3 cat3, i.e our 3 group games for $US750....With the added 'bonus' of being forced to pay an 'opening game' levy should we play one of the hosts first up!! Cat2 was around $US1600, cat1 around $US2200. Also bought the R32 NY/NJ game as I'm planning to go to New York after the group stage. I'll probably buy a few more games if they fit around the Socceroos schedule after the draw. To give some perspective I paid around $AU100 for several cat3 group games in Qatar. Prices are outrageous this time. FIFA are using American style dynamic pricing to squeeze every cent possible from every ticket. They manipulate demand, supply, distribution, stadium seating arrangements to create the illusion of scarcity. However dynamic pricing isn't allowed in Mexico so there's some mercy if you manage to get a ticket for a game there. Definitely will need deep pockets for the WC. A few more sales phases to go after the draw.
Iraq would beat JamicaYeah, Arnie will be wanting to avoid Bolivia first and foremost I reckon, and then probably Jamaica.
Maybe. But Jamaica are better than Suriname or New Caledonia I'd think.Iraq would beat Jamica
That’s why it will be hilarious if they’re drawn as the first matchMaybe. But Jamaica are better than Suriname or New Caledonia I'd think.
