Well got to be thankful it’s played at Kogarah and not out westy land that’s for sure
 
Olympic look pretty good early on. Not sure about the goal, could of easily been called a foul
 
Are soccer crowds that different from cricket crowds? How do they get 100,000 people to sit in the sun, nearly 40 degrees for the Boxing Day test, for eight hours a day, for five days straight?!!

And we can't handle 27 degrees for two hours 😅

Geez the optics for Sydney Olympic and the tournament are awful looking at this. Whoever designated S.O. to FTA needs their head read. It's either selfishness from the club, FA have no idea, or FA want it to fail. People say the crowd is there but it's hot and they're in the shade, yeah, not arguing that. The point is you need to SHOW THE CROWD TV!!! Unless you don't care about the optics or growth etc. Can't get a camera on the hill? Well sort it out ffs! I'm only cracking the shits because I care. As a TV product, S.O. is a failure here.

P.S. I want Augla at Victory!

Yea only the main grandstand is open. Again, the venue holds 20k. The grandstand alone is bigger than most npl venues

They were announced as a foundation club 24 months ago and they haven't sorted out a scaffold on the outer side?? I've seen some top scaffolds at state third tier level!

Anyway, damn tight group, only 1 goal between these two teams.

To be fair this is how the broadcast has been done for a league, nrl, Asian champions league games etc at the venue etc

True that, and I still hate it haha. I say the same thing about the Roar at Suncorp. They don't help themselves, and then they wonder why they're going down hill.
 
I like Pete, but this is a bit "tinfoil hat" for me and completely ignores a logical statement.

I think it's clear that FA and APL have worked together regarding scheduling for something mutually beneficial, not working against each other or protecting just one.

Definitely worth having a trial next season going head to head with A-League. Need all the metrics, and would appease a few theorists haha.

But having the semis and final at a neutral venue is dangerous for attendances. Where would the play a Bayswater vs Morton City final??

The sun shines into the camera if it’s on the other side. The same all around the world.

Football fields run North-South for a reason, and that is one of them.

These are facts, that the sun shines into the camera, but hey ho, you know best. Check out why the main stands at football grounds are on the western side.
The glare gets worse as the sun sets.
