2,200 at the game. Not too bad considering the thunderstorms and 1 hour rain delay. Could have been more for sure. But can we now put to bed the idea emanating particularly (although not exclusively) from Melb that Marconi/Italian clubs don’t have support? Where’s that guy who was saying 6 months ago that “Italian clubs are low”

We had 3K attendance against a team from Brisbane that no one has ever heard of down here.

Watched the second half of the Marconi vs Heidelberg match. Decent game and enjoyed it. I saw on the socials that miss from Tsekenis. In these types of matches, you’ve just got to put away those chances.

I think considering the Bergs have been the form NPL club and the up down season you guys have had done very well sharing the points, the first shared by Bergs in this also.
Yes some chances were there for the begging.

Marconi should have won that game imo, will feel like 2 points dropped. Heidelberg will be the happier with the draw

Good atmosphere, plenty of passion in the stands which is good to see. As someone at south Melb noted recently too, good to see so much merchandise, scarves, jerseys etc and a healthy mix of age groups from young to old all well represented

Also good to see “cavalleria” (Marconi supporter group) come out of hiatus and back on the terraces.

All goes to show imo what happens when things are done right at an administrative level

its a long time coming getting to this Championship - people are turning their necks and bit by bit coming back out to the grounds.
The merch at last APIA game was everywhere as well it great to see so many with the colours on again and good for all Clubs coffers importantly.
Early days but good to see and read of the good vibes.

We were ok last 20 minutes but Olympic let us off the hook, we defended poorly and turned the ball over too much. Lucky for us Olympic are prone to collapsing so fortunatepy we were able to capitalise.

For those who went to the game, how was the vibe/atmosphere? What do people think of the venue itself? Good facility obviously but probably too big for Olympic imo. Everyone here knows Olympic have always jumped from ground to ground and I’m not saying they have another obvious next best option having been booted from belmore. Again, would have been akin to a Melb nsl team playing out of Olympic park

As a side note, I wonder why offical figures and figures being given by clubs don’t necessarily line up. Case in point; Marconi last night
