The U.S. Attorney General can appoint Special Prosecutors without congressional approval - Merrick Garland appointed the shark Jack Smith without any need for approval.

Bondi appointing Matt Gaetz to investigate congressional corruption would be very entertaining. While that might reek of perceived conflicts of interest, any facts and evidence would speak for themselves.

Alternatively, Governor DeSantis appointing Matt Gaetz or Lara Trump for Senator would be a molotov cocktail thrown into the Senate's rats nest.

No doubt Ukraine is in a much stronger position than a week ago (which they desperately needed) . These are interesting times for Trump, but then he is going to end the war in 24 hours so let's see.

One logic I am trying to comprehend is:

Russia: Can recruit troops from a number of countries, launch secret attacks from other countries, and use weapons from various countries to invade a neighbour
Ukraine: Cannot use weapons from another country to strike back inside the invader's territory

Think I have it.

Anyway, hopefully that deadshit biden just says 'fuck it' on the way out and hands over more.

No of course its not as simplistic as this.. Old Vlad held socialist views before his exile to Siberia and then abroad, but by the time he started dabbling with the SDL parti and the Jewish Workers Guilds in Brussels, Stockholm and even London (they were chased all around western Europe remember) the "glue" that bound Bolshevism was Marx and Engels not JUST the cruelty of the Romanovs....

I am not referring to instances where the person confesses.

But in cases of witch-hunts, based on single testimonies made by one woman, the whole #MeToo concept goes against the Biblical principle - which requires a witness to establish a crime.

In the English common law -- before England and other Commonwealth nations went woke - it was the principle that a witness is required to establish a crime.

This to avoid someone making up a falsehood - which we've seen in many of these Senate confirmation hearings.

Deuteronomy 17:6 - "On the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses the one who is to die shall be put to death; a person shall not be put to death on the evidence of one witness."​

Deuteronomy 19:15 - “A single witness shall not suffice against a person for any crime or for any wrong in connection with any offense that he has committed. Only on the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses shall a charge be established."​

Numbers 35:30 - "“If anyone kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the evidence of witnesses. But no person shall be put to death on the testimony of one witness."​

1 Timothy 5:19 - "Do not admit a charge against an elder except on the evidence of two or three witnesses."​

It used to be that Australian, U.S. and English law used to be grounded in principles of the Common Law. By 2024 we are well into the process of totally overturning the centuries-old principles of justice and fairness.

This is why I constantly emphasise the importance of facts and evidence when deciding any matter, including the 6,000 year issue.
 
I wonder if the 25 women, to date, that have brought complaints about sexual assault by Trump count as more than a single witness.
