Acevski has been managing Preston for what? 8? 9? seasons now. I imagine its less about an inability to turn around the championship form (I'm still a believer), but more about getting the best out of quite an expensive NPL squad next season (this year was a decent season, just consistency doesn't seem to be there). Needs to be a change eventually and Acevski has pretty much done everything there is to do at this point.

Fair but Loui has seen Preston climb the ranks and did very well with brand new squads each and every jump... Is a gentleman of the game, hope he was treated well be the club...

Melbourne Croatia had a 3 point deduction and fines for a flare lit in their own grandstand 2 hours AFTER a match had been played and everyone had gone home a few years back.. Football VIC are notorious for not backing down... unless its Oakleigh

I believe the -3 for Heidelberg is due to the conduct of the players celebrating/inciting the opposition players after scoring, it happened at Prestons ground and then the 2nd time they did it in the semi final triggered the 3 point deduction.

It is weak but they were warned and repeated it so may struggle to get it overturned on appeal.

Totally agree.

A big fine and 1-2 matches behind closed doors maybe as a punishment, but not a 9 point deduction. That is excessive.
