Even though most of the 77/78 squad where still there in 81/82, the were a shadow of that team. Also, the Emergence of Aberdeen and Dundee United never helped either.That Rangers team of 81/82 in your profile Sutherland?
Were they as good as the treble team of 1977/78??
I can still remember that treble winning team group photo being in the centre pages of Shoot magazine....

I'm surprised that treble winning team didn’t win or get close to winning the European Cup in 78/79 I reckon that they would be just as good as Nottingham Forest.Even though most of the 77/78 squad where still there in 81/82, the were a shadow of that team.
