The Melbourne Victory Thread

Genreau looked class. He played higher than I expected. He's definitely our Machach replacement, even if not like-for-like. We're very strong in midfield. We need some players who can score consistently.

Yep. We can't expect Velupillay to hit form probably until the new year, even if his recovery goes well. It'll take time to settle back in. I hope we make some moves in the January transfer window.
 
I was very surprised to see Stella start on the weekend, and no D'Arrigo?

Really liked what I saw from Esposito.

Stella came from nowhere.

I really like Esposito. It's a good time for him to get senior game time, and it looks like he'll do well.

players that come from no where are the best sort of surprises. If he is 2006 born and already better than d'arrigo that is promising

He could have been a starter if he backed himself. There is a starting spot in the midfield up for grabs at Victory. If he was with us, I am certain he would have started last week.

To be fair Victory got him on loan from WSW and then didn’t really play him much, so can’t blame him for staying at the Jets where he is getting more game time?
 
What's got me off my chest fucking atrocious from the club two rounds in a row to start the Isuzu UTE A League Men season not one player and official have not even appeared from Melbourne Victory on SEN Breakfast, Whateley, The Captains Run (Friday), Dwayne's World, The Run Home, SEN Sportsday, 3AW Wide World of Sports this is absolutely piss weak & garbage.

To be fair there’s no point expecting much of SEN Melb where ⚽️ is concerned(other than the Prem & Socceroos/Tillies)..

3AW’s WWOS has at least talked up The Championship a bit, but I agree that the Vuck’s done naught w/regards to publicity - all the more odd given we now boast Mata

Melbourne City just literally had three players on inside 24 hours (Behich - Whateley program on SEN yesterday with Julian De Stoop and Leckie - The Run Home program on SEN this afternoon with Andy Maher and Andrew Gaze, Trewin - on 3AW Wide World of Sports last night with Bruce Eva) even more bizarre and disgraceful so to speak not happy rightfully so not good enough.
 
To think we passed on Milligan and sat Badalato on the bench the entire time. Some poor decisions there.

The players look spiritless or lacking confidence. No vibes about them. But Genreau is class.
 
Robbie and Macca are saying Nish might be out injured for another 5-6 weeks!
