Every game is different and Gauci was fortunate that Japan mostly did high balls he could catch. Izzo had a lot of great floor work against NZ. Keeping everyone on their toes is a good thing.

Yeah he definitely wasn't bad, he made mistakes for sure but also did great things. It was inconsistent. Someone of his calibre is rarely just bad.
 
People definitely underestimate Canada, they are missing Bombito, Davies, Johnston but are so fast and strong, a tough high press so passing out of the back which is already a struggle for us will be even harder. Think Rowles will have a tough night.

But Canada at full-strength are a top 20 side in the world, probably top 15.

In a VAR world likely but the way the player nudged the ball away from the duel and had residual contact it really ought to be waved away.
