Looks like the weather gods will be favourable to us, wind is expected to drop off later in the day and at worst a medium chance of a shower in the arvo but long cleared before ppl decide whether to come or not, mild temperature at kick off as well. Now its up to everyone to turn up and the team to finally perform in a huge game.

You're right.

Social media has been into overdrive with both the clubs and Football Australia really getting behind this. Greek media has pushed the Australian Championship.

I'm liking how its not just club social media channels are promoting this, but multiple social media platforms are getting involved. Great to see so many young fans getting excited by this.

The fact there will be food trucks, DJ, and other activities means it wont be just another NPL like atmosphere. It has to be different,. People need to see the clear difference between NPL and Australian Championship. A good off field experience will enhance the event.

The sun has come out and people will come out, even if its out of curiosity or just as an event.

This is where we need to put on a decent performance, knock the ball around and win. Of course if we score a last minute winner, then the place will erupt, but I would like to wrap up the 3 points much earlier.

I would be more than happy if we get a crowd of 6000 tonight. Many A League clubs dont get those crowd numbers.

I feel like this is way bigger, none of those games were televised live on a free to air broadcaster. Just having sbs there alone tips it over the edge for me.
