You’d be surprised, it has elevated seating, as opposed to just standing room only behind the goal.I doubt ANYONE from either end of the pitch could see ANYTHING .....

Not sure, but I would hazard a guess that finding the money to broadcast next years World Cup would be a bigger challenge they seem to have overcome. The challenge for that is , where are they going to find the money.
Ah.. so now its the elevation NOT just the distance from the pitch that makes one stadium great and the other "dogshit"??? Gottcha. You’d be surprised, it has elevated seating, as opposed to just standing room only behind the goal.
No, Homebush is shite. But a wee bit better than Albert park.Ah.. so now its the elevation NOT just the distance from the pitch that makes one stadium great and the other "dogshit"??? Gottcha.
I guess you can give your conclusion after your visit tomorrow... considering your new found admiration for ALL of Australian football, old clubs and new and all......No, Homebush is shite. But a wee bit better than Albert park.
You SMFC guys look too deep into things. Been to Melbourne three times and that was three times too many.I guess you can give your conclusion after your visit tomorrow... considering your new found admiration for ALL of Australian football, old clubs and new and all......
I think the government might have just a wee bit more interest in the World Cup than the FA cup that attracts very little interest until the final 16 at best. Not sure, but I would hazard a guess that finding the money to broadcast next years World Cup would be a bigger challenge they seem to have overcome.
Not enough rain for ya I suppose? You SMFC guys look too deep into things. Been to Melbourne three times and that was three times too many.
No, just normal civilization is what is missing. Not enough rain for ya I suppose?
Yeah I get that but they ARE throwing money at the Australian Championship so they must see at least some merit in appealing to football followers in this country below the Aleague... The Australia Cup is pretty much a "festivus for the rest of us" anyway as the APL still treats it as a pre-season warm up anyway....I think the government might have just a wee bit more interest in the World Cup than the FA cup that attracts very little interest until the final 16 at best.
And you find that in Sydney??? hahahaha Oh boy... OK mate... enjoy I suppose. No, just normal civilization is what is missing.
You may be right, but why hasn't their been any mention of the money that they are " throwing " at the Championship ?Yeah I get that but they ARE throwing money at the Australian Championship so they must see at least some merit in appealing to football followers in this country below the Aleague... I dont think they are throwing ANY money at the Championship mate... Just the fact they are broadcasting it for free, all around the world, using 6 cameras is a MASSIVE win for "us".... You've gotta understand that while your clubs have enjoyed a semblance of professionalism for the past 21 years, every other club in Australia has had to make do with single camera youtube streams from temporary scaffolding IF that...You may be right, but why hasn't their been any mention of the money that they are " throwing " at the Championship ?
You guys would be screaming about it from the rooftops if it was significant.
