2025/26 A league season

Major win this morning for A League Men and A League Women fans attending fixtures in the Victorian capital that public transport will be free every weekend beginning from early December til February 1st.


On top of that, as of 1st of Jan 2026, public transport in Victoria will be free for everyone under 18.
Awesome for families, and especially awesome for teenagers.
 
Any other A-league season preview podcasts floating around?

As revealed on Melbourne Victory website a week out before start of the new season that were just over 20,000 members officially signed up so far prior to our home opener against Auckland FC at AAMI Park next Saturday Night as per Caroline Carnegie has revealed and given how late the fixture release was is a brilliant effort and said let’s fill AAMI Park week in week out and sell it out.

Caroline Carnegie has confirmed that this is the last season with current sanctions in place by Football Australia (re tarps in the first few rows down the front of North Terrace).

Joshua Rawlins will miss next week’s clash up against Auckland FC at AAMI Park thru suspension after his red card against Olympic Kingsway in Australia Cup round of 32 and he will return for the round 2 clash up against Newcastle Jets as per Arthur Diles has revealed.

Men’s squad update ahead of the new season it has been disruptive lead up to the season with call ups with Olyroos & Young Socceroos during the lead up to round one squad is shaping up nicely with possible debuts in matchday squad next week with as per Arthur Diles has revealed.

Women’s squad update ahead of new season the squad has return hungry determined the squad is looking stronger than last season in lead up to round one clash against Brisbane Roar in three weeks time also determined to go one better than last season as per Jeff Hopkins confirmed.

There will be weekly injury updates provided by the club in the lead up weekend fixtures for both A League Men team & A League Women team prior to squad are announced on Thursday Afternoon each week as per John Didulica officially revealed there will be full wrap sent to members Friday (today).

North Terrace will be there and active this season Caroline has confirmed (she mentioned the 8 people who did the wrong thing in Shepparton earlier this year during NPL game against Green Gully were banned will not have their bans overturned).
 
Former Mariner John Hutchinson also available after getting sacked in the J2. Don’t think they can afford Aloisi.
