The players showing a complete lack of interest, perhaps? Who the hell doesn't know what teams are in their league, at that level!!!

I want the strongest teams through, on and off the park! We have metrics to appease as we were clearly told by the FA and they wont be appeased by some fairytale story which although nice for the comp doesnt get us closer to h&a umless the only metric is full state representation (i have no confidence that the FA metrics are not contradictory between them or non pragmatic to make this not work either way).
The fairytale stories are for the AU cup this comp is the base to a h&a and we cant afford to get bogged down in it bc if this is the future i dare say it wont last beyond the 2yrs.

I don't think state representation will be the only metric - but it would probably be the most important one. I think the FA wants to go H&A within 2 years but doubt whether they will if it is only NSW and VIC. I would think that QLD and SA are a must, WA and TAS nice to have, ACT, NT and NNSW the icing on the cake.

In years gone by I probably would have too - but NSW is already represented and NNSW is not the stronghold of football they once were. Harper and co talk like it is but Newcastle and NNSW (outside of the Jets) are a shadow of what they were).

Biggest match of the year? This is their biggest match since their inception hahaha.. if nothing else it will give them something other than south to whinge about (although they will somehow work that in) when they lose! 🤣 if they win it does it still count towards a collingwood title? 😛
