Nice early red for Sanchez. Bloke is an absolute clown. Nice early session with every team scoring.

A mental first half at Old Trafford. Sanchez red and Chelsea use the pause to make an extra sub on topic. Palmer subbed off on 15 due to not playing well. 2:0 United but then Caesmiro a second yellow in added time.

Every team scored in the EPL today and I had a multi bet somewhere at 70/1 or so but I must have added one or two other league games. Damn, had I just stayed on epl it would've come in. Also was just one corner away from a same game multi at Fulham at 31/1.

Wolves are in deep trouble already. Brentford are hot and cold. Brighton Spurs I watched in full and it was a tussle albeit odd sort of match.

Feel like Liverpool going to walk away with the title. How the heck did Slot just walk in and make things so much better. I now know what it feels like to be a Liverpool fan during the 90's/00's
funny from my perspective atm we won't be walking away with the title watching all games to date.
Obviously early days - we arn't playing that great yet, sure patch's of brilliance, we are leaking goals that could have been avoided incl the Atleti CL game - we kind of switch off whilst we dominated, then off the pedal, thats not going to walk away with the title kind of outlook.
We're lucky getting some very late wins.
Slot walked into a well primed squad and well run Club winning last season - unlike one like VanTag who walked into a utter mess since Fergie departure.
Its chalk and cheese for being a dutchman like many of his fellow peers are normally the types to sort out a mess but I don't think anyone has/gets the "time" needed stabilising a Club that has the stigma of, this is United nothing is accpeted but winning/contesting.
Well like any reno job, this takes time Plus buying the right players to fit and discarding needs to make sense.
There hasn't been alot of sense at United for over a decade plus it was on the slide Fergie's last couple of seasons.

Yep your feeling the pain zimbos, been a logn time coming, I can't help rejoicing after all the years we copped it from Manc supporters its the classic, what goes around comes around.

Sanchez - well what can you say, IF I ever was a GK I prob do the same haha
No one can deny the career Casemiro has had but he's that typical sth merican behaviour we dislike when he fouls so obviously yet looks at the ref in amazement with that expression of you kidding me, throw the book at this type of player for me can't stand em.

Hey zimbos, like I've said damned if you do damned if you don't re Bruno, without him the team lacks alot of punch.

Ange was always gonna struggle @ Turf Moor - thats their backbone defense defense.
I think Frank is going to struggle like Ange @ Spurs.
Hammers surely gonna be in relo battle next to Wolves.
Villa finally scored a goal.
Toon is struggling post Isak.
Nice to watch City soak up the arse punishment pity they equalised very late.

Bournemouth's Basque manager Andoni Iraola must be the most sought after young coach in the game right now.

Just look at the players Bournemouth sold during the off season yet he has them sitting in the Champions League spots. With a ground capacity of <12K and I dare say his transfer budget is probably a 1/10 of the big boys....

I reckon he's heading for one of Europe's biggest clubs soon.

Bournemouth have punched above their weight for years now - I can't recall us/LFC running away with a game the last number of years always challenging game, he went into a sound well run small Club/new owners since '22 and kicking on good to see.
Best finish last year if I recall right, of the 5 games this season only LFC/Toon have been the bigger Clubs - will be interesting where they stand come Jan.

How could Potter possibly be fired being the master of emotional intelligence and all? His most recent gigs have been very unhappy places and that's after trying stupid shit with Brighton before jumping ship.

West Ham have given their head coach Graham Potter the sack and all his assistants have also left with him. Nuno Espirito Santo set to take over as the new head coach and expected to be in place before their game this week against Everton.
Nuno will be a fine acquisition for West Ham. Good luck.

Wish West Ham would leave that bowl and build something rectangular with 55k in the neighbourhood they're from.

This United keeper isn't Taibi levels but he's woeful. How the standards have slipped. Someone like Flecken at Brentford all that time and Kelleher has also been shown up. Goes to show how a big club tag doesn't equate to quality per se.

West Ham - the gift that keeps giving... Sacked Big Sam, and then David Moyes, because neither plays the "West Ham way" - they're going to love Nuno's brand of football.

That's so gutting for Wolves. Hoping for results to balance out for an overly exciting league.

The cost of building a large capacity new stadium in London would be astronomical. Even in the far reaches of East London. With land purchase and infrastructure costs they'd be looking in the region of £2 billion at least....

They've been paying something like £3 million a year rent to the Greater London Authority for usage of the Olympic Park in Stratford with a 99 year leasehold on it.

From what I've read it costs around £20m a year to run the stadium and the GLA funds operating losses of the London Stadium to the tune of over £17m each year...

That's right. It'd be cheaper to do away with that running track but London stadium is for multiple events. Stratford has excellent transport too.

You wonder what may become of Selhurst Park.

Got to say so enjoyed watching the first game Sat evening.
Luv seeing United keep failing.
WTF you spend so much on 2 strikers and not consider sorting out your backline and improve your mids.
The GK situation is laughable.
Amorin surely can't last much longer BUT who do they consider ? whoever are asking for a short term death wish.
Leeds gained the draw.
WTF Chelsea - with all those capable players - so hot and cold.
MC burried Burnley.
Ange still in the poop - good away win for the Black Kats.
I was surprised Spurs drawing.
Villa finally woke up and scored some goals.
Talk about late Arse.
As for LFC, we all have bogey teams and the Eagles have been for many many years staggers me TBH.
Even when Woy was managing them we never really showed who's the boss.
Always sat back deep punch us on counters and as the seasons move ahead Palace are getting much better and out smarting us be it Klopp and now Slot !
Christ they could have been 3/4 up by HT if it wasn't for the brilliance of Alison - what a frigging GK.
Then at the other end a GK that United stupidly let go Henderson did his part keeping us out.
72% possession - why couldn't we break em faster - all too slow for my liking its the same storey when clubs happy to cop the punishment but let loose on counters against us.
Writz is struggling to settle in, I'll give Isak some slack not having much game time yet but we are not clicking fluently enough when held off.
Ekitike was really missed for this game up front.
Spouse can't complain early days.
Lets wake up next away @ Chelsea.

Surely a change of management at Newcastle is now on the cards?

I think whilst he's a decent manager Eddie Howe has probably taken them as far as he can. The next step has to be a bona fide top European coach.

yes - its been in the back of my mind a season back or 2.
Mind you still don't think they ahev a good overall squad considering the kind of backing they have.
Re Isak - he wouldn't have gone if they bought better as mentioned - I don't think its Howe to look at entirely its the depth and lacking more quality imo.....
