Agree - he was one of our better performers this year.

We essentially have 2 players for each position on the park. That's the kind of depth we have been lacking for the last 2-3 years.

Agree - we have plenty of firepower upfront, plus a decent defence.

Midfield looks good too. We just need Siki to make all these players gel into a ferocious attacking machine.

One of the missing pieces in the jigsaw puzzle. We finally have a good striker upfront.

The squad now has depth and quality across the park. No doubt the squad has been dramatically improved. Sinisa needs to find a way to integrate these new players into the existing squad in very little time.

Agree its prinarily on the coach now but he gets some leeway bc the football department took its damn time getting them in for this tournament!

I don't know about ornithology but 2 wins and a draw before the balcony bros forced him to rest 9 players against St Albans and pissed off the whole playing group in the process was what almost got us relegated... NOT manager with a record of 2 wins 1 draw from the first 3 matches... and the Charity Shield the week before season started.

I get what you are saying and tend to agree on fault from the top and yes he pulled results no doubt but the football was a eyesore and without a Sawyer it wasnt going anywhere imo.

My gut tells me Sisi is going to play Bonada and Pasquali as double pivots....

Needs a giannakop to play cleanup behind them though!

If we can only attract as many fans to this as Dandy City can to a match, or Heidelberg can (assuming the GF was roughly 50/50) then we should just fold the club already....

Then heads down now that signings are over and blanket everything to create the required traction! The club needs to get its finger out and step on the gas! Obviously isnt a money issue!

Need to be dishing out freebies, has to be sold like an event, we are on free to air tv for the first time in decades, it needs to look presentable, all seats filled, club must do whatever it takes, if tickets arent selling well over the next week they need to go on a blitz.

We have enough seats available to do a mixture of both as long as its school related, i think you hit nail on the head there, bc if it goes general public than the reverse could also happen for those that actually paid bc no way they pay ever again once they pissed off at it the first time! Bit of a fine line there!

eyesore agreed 100% but NOT 9th finish eyesore.... that first 4-5 rounds after the Hajduk malakia was absolutely the pitts..

Im struggling to get people on a Friday but have a few for the other home matches...

Yeah I agree with this.... They have to factor in that all/at least most members will come to this and then whatever hasn't sold by the Wed/Thur they can canvas local schools or community groups or whatever with freebies... Maybe raffle off tickets at the local Greek club horo like the old days... hahahahahahaha

Football department has put together a pretty strong squad for both the Australian Championship and NPL competition.

We’ll know in a few weeks if it’s enough to have a fair crack at the Australian Championship.
