I would take 5k in a heartbeat, sydney Olympic will bring 20 ppl. Plus those neutrals attending the Australia cup final likely wont double up 6 days later.

Even the npl grand final it took a massive effort from the croatian community and neutral Greeks just to get 8.5k

The vibe is good, not that good though, i have had interest from friends otherwise not engaged
.. problem remains that we havnt even released a combo championship & ofc deal to tie them down meaning we relient on them to buy tix on the day which as we know is highly risky!
 
I think the teams will average from 1,000 at the lower end and 6,000 for the top few. Overall average for the group stage I reckon about 3,000. Three or four teams will be doing the heavy lifting.

Think the 1pm and 3pm games will struggle, i know it cant go head to head with the A league but those are horrible kick off times with daylight savings starting the week before.

I’m not sure why you mention only ‘suits’ from the A League when clearly Championship clubs are also involved.
This is the difficulty I have when trying to discuss what I believe are genuine attempts at progress but am met with flippant comments.
Maybe this forum is not for me.😒

Inclusion of the championship clubs in this case is defs progress and credit to the FA for it... ill take the small wins but a lot of work to do still, a lot of mentalities to change within the game itself!

My point is that now all the focus should be on reaching the required impairetive of h&a, before we pat anyone on the back! That is the pathway if they want us to acknowledge this all as a genuine attempt!

Mate, @melbcityguy literally mentioned all of Football Australia, A-League and FIFA. I don't think he was being disingenuous at all. Don't take it to heart mate, we want to hear about how the conference goes ☮️
