Yes, his opponents, are college adults exercising their free will to approach him. His organization is afterall aimed at increasing american youth participation in politics whether they're aligned with him or not. Speaking at college campus's makes complete sense. Kirk has always maintained he's a college drop out, if smarter more educated people outwit him that's hardly a criticism.

He had integrity whether you like him or not. I can easily pick a supporter of any particular demographic and label them purely for having a difference of opinion to mine. That doesn't make them a piece of shit, I've only lowered myself by an inability to present rebuttal.
I've heard so much in the last couple of days about all the horrible things he's said, yet when investigated they've always either been taken out of context or cut the quote short purely as mischaracterization.
