Big Ange thread

One of the very few leagues in the world that can make Brazil's Serie systems look squeaky clean.
The funny thing is mate, its NOT even the shittest league in Europe..... not even bottom 10...... In countries like Bulgaria, Marinakis would be president of the football association, Prime Minister AND head of the church..... lol

Sure mate, thats your opinion.. Im not saying anymore, all the people set to testify, against the EPLs finest owner in the seized heroin shipment case ended up dead by "natural causes" just before the court case. I hope Ange never has dreams of couching for his beloved AEK ... thats just flown out the window.
Interesting mono. Reading this and (other owners) does make you want to just watch park football

Oh boy ... were to start... lets just say in a football league not entirely resplenandant in any semblance of respectability. Where corruption, match fixing and illegality are the appetiser before the main course of violence and crime. Where gun toting owners stroll onto the pitch, away fans have been banned for years, only 2-3 deaths in the stands or outside the grounds is considered a major win for everybody .... Somehow fat Vang is the ONE man universally despised by all fans not from that dirty, whoremongering slum port in Piraeus.

I always hope any Australian does well overseas but Ange has done his reputation a major disservice here...
He looks like a villain

I think that Douglas Luiz, Elliot Anderson and Morgan Gibbs-White will all enjoy playing under Ange. I think Ange will enjoy having them too...

They're all.well suited to the type.of football Ange likes his teams to play. And they're all industrious types of players who Ange will be happy to give them license to push, press and create...

I always thought Ange struggled to get this profile of player at Spurs. Now he has 3 of them.

And it will be fascinating to see how Forest, who were mostly a counter attacking team under Nuno morph into the high line pressing style of 'Angeball'....

It's going to be a seismic strategic shift in philosophy.

Well pretty obvious they are chalk and cheese and that’s the million $ question ahead.
They are Nuno tuned gonna take sometime But I also hope he will adjust his style having seen what punishment his team went through last season despite the injuries.
He has to adapt better to gain consistent results.

I have reservations and hope I'm proven wrong. I'm a big Ange fan, but his appointment feels very nepo in style. That is not how Ange does things, so I'm worried he's kind of taken a post that is a poisoned chalice. He already has so many detractors and haters, and if he fails, he could never get the big team role he deserves.

According to experts, the players they have brought in from the recent transfer window are more tailored for Ange's style of play. He also has a much deeper squad than at Spurs.

Forest captain Ryan Yates will be a bit of a conundrum for Ange. He's a fan favourite and club capatain, he's been with Forest for a few years and risen through the ranks so to speak....

But like Hojbjerg at Spurs he's not exactly a technically adept type of player, his passing abilities are limited. It's going to be interesting to see how or if Ange uses him much.

Ange didn't have much time for Hojbjerg really. Could be see you later Ryan.....🤚

True about Yates. A fighter but not exactly a footballer. Loved how Ange got rid of Griffiths at Celtic. Knew he was a bad egg and didn't take his crap.
