Popovic said its conceivable Bos and Behich pair up on a wing. I'd still like to see us try and compensate with versatility and then add a midfielder and striker.

To be fair it sounded more like he was being polite to the questioner

Reckon he is more likely to rotate like crazy

Unless age catches up with him he will be a valuable squad member with his experience. He would also be a handy defensive starter in a game where its important we don't concede early and a sub if we are defending a lead. I think Bos is a better LWB option if we are attacking But I would like to see them both on the field with Bos more advanced on the left to see how that works in one of the upcoming friendlies. The next four matches should be to try a few things out. Winning isn't that important.

Belich has been a great servant for Australia, over 80 caps, was one of few from the 2015 Asian cup squad still left & we well always remember his goal against Japan. He deserves respect & thanks.
 
He deserves respect and thanks and to be frogmarched out of the team hotel into the retirement home.
 
Mr C says it how it is though with a straight bat hence I get taken harsh But also not wrong its all in the delivery :)
Behich has had a stellar long career, congrats to him thanks for your service - I see it that we haven't had any better to take his spot plain and simple.....
Duke mention a much later servant in a position we have lacked in for decades and he filled the hole.
No doubt you see he put in and appreciate his efforts again plain and simple, his highlight was that unsuspecting rocket coming towards him and instinctively got a glance to it ending up in the goal at the WC, all that stands out for me but for his chasing down of balls and harrassing defenders which is all you could ask for.
Hoping not to offend and I expect others will see it very differently.

Anyway I'm looking forward what becomes regards to this coming tour by some genuine looking prospects in attack like we've been waiting on imo.

What about Belich's run against Argentina in the WC, would've been one of our greatest goals.

yer great stuff one of his best , out of the box "moments" over 80 games, you'd hope so having a few highlight reels all that time.
Your an admirier and I get that - I see he's been a sound squadie that I won't really miss thats it.

No not a huge admirer, all I said he did his job, nothing flashy, apart from that goal against Japan & that run against Argentina (which frankly shocked me, because I'd never seen him do that before).

Interesting to note how some international careers end. Look at Sainsbury and Leckie.

Most international careers end with not being picked any more. Not many get to finish on their own terms and fewer still get a farewell match.
