You could see that in the smirk on his face in one of his press conferences when talking about Segacic.
 
It’s like popa is scared with so many defenders.
I get having a strong rear guard but here we go again let them come to us.
Least better fire power up front but yer Milanovic missed.

I would have liked to see him get some game time but either way it wouldn't have locked him in. He either wants to play for us or he doesn't, but I suspect he does.
 
I'm a little ambivalent about Circati as captain.

On the one hand, I think he's close to our best player and will doubtless be captain for years.

On the other hand, it seems to conflict with Popa's usual ethos of making players wait for rewards and seems a tad early, given it's only his 7th game.

I get for club stuff or lower level but your flag that’s just weird.

Logically you’d think Degenek as the ol leader and rear guard but I say good change go with the flow.
Even though not a lot of games his game is sound and lets blood a newbie for a change.
One thing out of the box re popa
 
Question for anyone overseas - is this game on FIFA+? I know that NZ games in Aus are usually on FIFA+, so wondering if that's the case for this game outside of Australia?
 
Is the field lime green on your screen or just mine? Looks like someone has run a highlighter over it.

Yes it is.
I'm in the Philippines and it's working here. I guess you'll need a good VPN to access it ftom Australia if the game is geoblocked there on FIFA+
