I’m at the 22 min mark in my compilation of stats. Teague has been okay in the first 22 mins.

The off the ball work when they have the ball hasn’t been that good from Hrustic, Boyle and Silvera. All playing in close proximity to each other.

If Miller was playing RWB, Leckie was playing RW and Duke/Toure/Borello/ Yengi were playing central striker, the defence would be better screened.

Kiwis are also suffering by committing players to the Full Press and intensive Squeeze. There is space behind to exploit.

Popa would have had a look at both players in camp. Know Teague’s game well ATM, but not Balard’s, so can’t comment.

Balard scored a brilliant goal by perfect application of the pivot turn.

JS I can't agree they did nothing with the ball.
Put aside our mistakes/out of position that helped them they had alot of good moments of build up play to me.
That Singh is a good player, he stood out more than our own opposite in same position for eg.
They played some great balls behind our defense.
We cleared our lines 37 to our 21 - I expect we improved that stat only after Poppa finally changed the front attack as we saw what happened last 15mins for most of the game we were dross.
The also had 178 forward pass's to our 142.
Successful final third pass's 77 to our 52.
Again these stats would have improved for us that last 15.

Our goal wasn't a fluke per say thats for sure, Toure's body strength is very commendable, look at his strength compared to fall down Boyle eh, s for Balards strike, he took the chance went for it like any other good player in that attacking position well put away lovely to see.

All i am saying is it is becoming obvious. As i have said to you, many times, i hardly know any foreigner in Sydney who backs the AMNT over their so called mother country. The Yugoslavians are the worst IMHO.

Fishing, fuck all. ALL the Australian born Greeks (their words) i know, and i know plenty, identify as Greeks, as they go by whatever the parents are. You mention the AMNT, and they laugh at you.

Love you using stats to illustrate a point! You’ve come a long way!

Singh - agree a quality player.

Toure - agree re his body strength compared to Boyle’s was needed as a target striker leading the line.

I do see the point on both ends - but it's not just the Greeks. Have seen it as an Italian through school too.

There's no point trying to start a flame war, because everyone has a septic tank on everyone here.

I could ask him about the Scottish national team? But I gather since most of the players have surnames that either don't end in vowels, or consonants that aren't S or C, that it's ok
