Aussies abroad šŸŒšŸ¦˜

Irankunda is a dead ball specialist we haven’t had probably since Kewell even Aaron Mooy.

Talk about bad moves Jake Hollman not getting any minutes for a league 2 club given the football that is played might be a bad move as Teague and Arzani have made, these guy need better agents because they are too talented to be wasted by not playing.

league 2 is still a hoof ball league so there is a big style mismatch

hard to break through unless you are physically decent, ironically he would have more luck at a league 1 club

Too early to tell with teague imo

Hollman maybe with a knock today? They would've done their scouting and the lower EFL are trying more and more to play out from the back although they can't.

It's still early days but the issue is Hollman will try and get the ball moving around but for League 2 team mates to be positioned much worse than people at his level.

I don't think there's anyone who didn't recognise his tidiness in the A League.

I had question marks before a ball was kicked, it doesn’t seem I’m going to be proved wrong sadly.

There was one game where both teams had the ball in their own half’s just playing long diagonals every 2 passes, I was thinking this is a worser standard than the aleague.

Im pretty confident league 2 is worse standard

A league is about 3 quarters of a league up from league 2.

Having said that, the style of english football is changing so it wouldnt surprise me if a few years from now league 2 became a bit more focused on circulating the ball

I also hope people don’t take things for granted about the standard of the league here because it’s better than it’s currently advertised, sure the burgers beating 3 aleague teams in a row but maybe it explains the depth thats outside of the aleague and the potential growth to come with the aus championship.

yeah more than enough teams.
Wish the powers that be would just let them play

My main gripe is the season is comparatively short with not enough football for the developing players. If injuries occur the the opportunities open up. We need a few more clubs in Canberra, Sunshine Coast and Tasmania. Don't worry about being big just be sustainable and there's talent galore in the NPL to bolster the numbers.

Circati solid in a 1 all draw as central cb

Wonder who is central out of him and souttar if everyone is fit

The finishing from both sides surprisingly poor for this level! Made for a frustrating match

Feel Circati has the better line balls to be the RCB.

I'm so not nervous about Burgess ever starting after Japan away. The way he stalks and casts a shadow is excellent.
