sign of the times, if you have kids your more on the pulse supporting them than criticising, as much as I grew up without tech and all you have to embrace whats going on. SM Influence run elections today. Most don't give a toss but what pops up from their tiktok etc.

It's pretty difficult to get football casuals interested for some reason. We actually do as well as a league reddit for regular posters according to an app I used, but they are around 10 times as big when it comes to casual posters

I'm guessing @Decentric has been around a lot and seen a lot come and go in oz football, including forums. Of course we all know the answer to everything in Australian football is promotion and relegation

Perhaps anarchy and reddit can be our 2nd division, and the worst post has to be sent there and we take their best posters. And they said P&R wouldn't work in Australia

Nothing we can do. For instance a casual who enjoys afl, cricket and his a-league team just isn't going to be interested.

yeah probably just have to be around for ages to get casuals. We have the most hardcores so happy with that

Must admit I’m a bit shocked traffic/ participation is the same as when starting in October?

All and good your on a recruitment drive but I’m just not that type in doing so.
Your political door knocking background there is only so few as such good luck to you.
Forums I’m led to believe are a dieing comm format but you know what imo......
If the game grows and expands especially the npl they will come in time.
What happens in between it is what it is.
People doing web surfing regards football this site will come up in their search’s just as I stumbled to 442.
That’s how it will go imo.

What has replaced forums?

Whirlpool forums ate still going gangbusters - overall. Not football per se though.

I'm interested in how posters discovered G and G FC, if they were not recruited through IS/442, like most of us?
