Decent signs given it's the final game against a bigger opponent before the season starts. They'll surely feature away to Plymouth in the cup. Tentative league minutes early on I reckon.

Adamson and Pearman didn’t look too out of place after they came on. Pearman did a lot of pressing and was good off the ball. He was a little slow at times when receiving it. Adamson slot in at RB and held his own well. According to FotMob, he was the third highest rated on QPR, even though he only played less than 40 min. His ball skills are surprisingly tidy for a defender. Bennie was lively when he came on at ST but barely touched the ball. He and Pearman were a real threat with their combined pressing though. They forced a few turnovers late on that created some half chances. Bennie did have one opportunity to try and chip the keeper at the end but under hit it under pressure.
Overall, it seemed like a good test against a higher level team.
 
Watched much of Walsall/Swindon (promotion candidates) last night, to check out the standard. Hollman came on in the 84th minute.

Jake will have to adapt to the lack of time on the ball but should easily be the best technical/creative player on the books. In this game anyway, lots of balls crossed into the mixer by both sides.
