Australian transfers 25-26 Winter

what an opportunity!!!

MARCO TILIO has been targeted by Melbourne City with the A-League side looking to bring back the Australia international winger for a THIRD stint.

Saw Josh Cavallo joined Peterborough Sports which is 6th English tier.

looks like brondby fc wants younis

So our 2005 born players in Europe are Waddingham, Younis, Okon Jr and Musa Toure
Swedish league seems a handy way into bigger competitions later on. Some decent crowds at bigger clubs and seemingly a number of strong mainstays.

What I'd like is these young players to be playing so regularly that when they come to national team camps you can see the sharpness. It's gotten better but I was tired of seeing rusty reserve based players coming in with 3 games in half a year.

Rawley St John has moved from Uerdingen to St Pauli II. Same level of German 4th tier.

He's put in the hard yards at only 19 and now moving to a club with more financial stability, plenty of minutes available and at a club with two Aussies in the first team. Good news.

96 II and HSC Hannover are both in the same league so I may have a chance to watch this season.

Only 5. Doesn't seem like much. I wonder if Okon Jr will move. Belgium or Eredivisie would be good.
think only 4

For comparison in previous years we have seen no more than 2 u21s in a single year get 25 games +

2004 - Chipperfield and Toure
2003 - Volpato and Circati

I'd be happy with 2 of those 4 make 25 games

Wow that'd be a very good way to gauge where he's at not only in his game but in professionalism. Watford are a shaky place though.

Bayern have had him around their reserves which was really small fry. Too easy.

50 games in all comps mind you. It seems unthinkable he wouldn't get 25 games+ with his physical attributes
Big campaigns but I like there's a safety net of available minutes. It's much worse when there's a squeeze with big benches in Italy and Netherlands with fewer games. Of course he shouldn't play all the time. Let's say 40 appearances with 25 starts. A cup game here or there.

Better league and bigger club compared to Grasshoppers. If he gets a lot of sub appearances that would be my most optimistic take; if he has addressed the holes in his game. My head says he will end up on loan second half of the season after a few sub appearances and not playing for the first half. Based on the end of the last season in Switzerland. Hopefully it is the former.

I fear at this stage of Irankunda's development it's a stretch too far. I think he'll reach that quality but I feel the timing is wrong.
