No but to me you have agenda. You hate Australian football and until you say something positive I'm gonna think thatwhy? are we living in North Korea?
There isn't much positive to say about Australian football. No but to me you have agenda. You hate Australian football and until you say something positive I'm gonna think that
Look fair enough I respect you explaining yourself and get the frustration. It's the pot shots at tilio. As I said to mono and lfc and others on here the suits can't run a bath they make stupid mistakes and the a league has its faults but surely it's worth getting behind and the second division? There isn't much positive to say about Australian football.
What irritates me about this country is everything is marketing.
Talking things up doesn't make footballers better, it just perpetuates the status quo. Australia lives in a bubble of its own unreality.
I've been around long enough to see that standard of football decline because the people running the game just take what they can get and the only thing they ever do is marketing shit to an increasingly indifferent population. Now they're going for the low hanging fruit of women's football and marketing via identity politics. Its not about the sport anymore, its lipstick on a pig.
The game peaked in the 90's and has gone backwards ever since. You at least had a player base then who were mostly coached by 1st generation ethnics who knew what they were doing.
Australia will never be good at football because it lies at the arse end of the world with no competition in its region to raise standards. People here blame NRL and ALF etc, need to look at Ireland where football is the 4th most popular sport and still shits on Australia in terms of playing standard with a quarter of the population, simply due to its location and being part of UEFA.
So you're just racist then? There isn't much positive to say about Australian football.

Partly agree that a lot of sport, and this isn't exclusively Australian, is about marketing of an event. Call me crazy but I feel the NFL has smartly moved back to a big sport focus after plying the event concept for years. There isn't much positive to say about Australian football.

what is wrong with your head?So you're just racist then?
Haha I saw thatMuscat has left his coaching job for a stint in international diplomacy after going for a walk with Albo in China.
We'll get whatever we want if we take Muscat into the room with the threat he'll two foot the negotiator.
not too late to overake last year
Do the individual franchises share the money or is this just a combined revenue sort of graphic?not too late to overake last year
ideally we want to eventually cover the salary floor year in year out , so about 30mil per year
combined revenue, some of course will do better than others so no sharingDo the individual franchises share the money or is this just a combined revenue sort of graphic?
Just odd that its presented like this? If anything, its makes a mockery of even having a salary cap if some club have millions in revenue and others dont manage to develop and to sell any players???combined revenue, some of course will do better than others so no sharing
to be fair they are talking removing the cap for a fair play systemJust odd that its presented like this? If anything, its makes a mockery of even having a salary cap if some club have millions in revenue and others dont manage to develop and to sell any players???
100%Just odd that its presented like this? If anything, its makes a mockery of even having a salary cap if some club have millions in revenue and others dont manage to develop and to sell any players???
I have NEVER understood the need for a salary cap or floor in a sport where the global marketplace dictates players worth like ours...to be fair they are talking removing the cap for a fair play system
What the hell is with you making sense all of a sudden? lol100%
if you're going to have a socialist franchise league then the money should be shared
the clubs after all are losing millions every season on financing the ALW
He's not making any sense, he's just looking for friends. What the hell is with you making sense all of a sudden? lol
