Big Ange is a noted fan of FM. The former Whittlesea Zebras & Tottenham manager would sign wonderkids after scouting them at World Youth Cups he was coaching at. He claimed his biggest achievement was winning the Champions League with Southend Utd only to be sacked 6 months later

They’ve also signed Oscar Page from our youth team. Whether they’ve given him a scholarship contract or he’s just on a YDA remains to be seen
 
really ? as if Venues NSW need SFC, I'm sure they could fill the spot of a another paying customer or just hold more concerts.

In the summer months they don't have a tenant if SFC walk away.

Why should Sydney FC be the only club inconvenienced by the rubbish drainage that needs to be repaired.

3 years free rent is where I'd be starting the negotiations.

From a quick look at their website there are two non sport events this year at the venue. Theres plenty of other concert venues in Sydney as well.

Good idea, but whats the alternative for Sydney? Liechardt and Kogarah don't cut it.

I also have it on good authourity Venues NSW actually want SFC out of Allianz as the low crowds are becoming way too costly.
 
well ofcourse there wouldn't have been other scheduled events considering it was only annouced recently of the ground re works.
Obvioulsy a deal would be cut but they won't have the Gov at their mercy as much as you wish for for seriously what/where can they threat to go ?
Kogarah that has been used but most supporters don't like as Sutho express's.
biggie, actually Leichardt suit SFC spot on but that also is going through a re vamp soon and bugger off, Tigers and APIA are the coming tenants.
Seriously where else ?
There isn't much to threat over for they actually have you/SFC in their palms.

I find this hard to believe.

Only 1 Rugby league game at Allianz this year has had a higher crowd that the Syd FC vs WSW derby there this year.

Why don't those venues cut it, if Sydney FC can broker a deal to be the SOLE tenant of those venues.
 
Why do so many factors hate football in this country?

Lack of media support, misunderstanding from the authorities and now this?

This is getting beyond ridiculous for a supposed sporting country…

But you know it's only played by sheilas,wogs and poofters.Things haven't changed since Johnny Warren wrote that book.In fact the SMH because of its involvement with Stan hardly mentions our code unless it is about the EPL and Ange.Gives that boring code RU lots of coverage as well as the AFL and the hyped NRL.

Fair to say they have been winning most of the time. They are smart in how adapted into accepting Matilda's and epl teams but anything a league or socceroos is made fun of

Didn’t stop the b0gan commentators last weekend from stopping just short of making light of Jota’s passing after Motlop did his celebration in tribute.

And that’s w/o mentioning the impromptu photo-op w/Rashford a few years back when they literally ambushed him@ AAMI Park just for a pic of him cradling a bloody Sherrin🏉..
