General A Leagues thread (Men and Women) 2025/26 season

In other words, until the A League plays out of its own grounds, it will be screwed over every year.
Don't they mostly though? I mean sure, some share with rugby clubs but that is in different seasons.... My point is that Football VIC for example, has to schedule leagues for hundreds of teams in a dozen different divisions, both men and women AND junior competitions for both, all taking into consideration clubs requirements and requests, yet manages to to do it, APL has to schedule a handfull of games for two leagues.... it shouldn't be that hard.

If you have all the answers, then put your hand up for the job at the APL.

And to rub salt into Sydney FC's wound it won't help with Jubilee Stadium (Sydney Olympic) & Leichhardt Oval (APIA Leichhardt Tigers) both will be hosting Australian Championship home fixtures as well utter disaster for Sydney FC following developments about Allianz Stadium during the week.

It will be the same as the season just passed, where we played our first three or four games away from home. Happens all around the world, although probably not in Victoria.🤣🤣

That was not my point, but you already knew that.
No, I get your point but being forced to relcoate home and away matches DOES happen in Victoria.... the three exceptions are a blasphemous anomaly ... thank Christ there will soon only be two :) ... but you already knew that

Didnt he play non league when he went back over with Catley?
Bouzanis played in National League for Sutton United when Catley moved to Arsenal but was traded to Reading for season 2022-23, loaned back to Sutton United and then loaned again to Stevenage. He then went to Charlton Athletic on a short-term deal in March this year and was recently delisted.

honestly not awful

the standard of goal keeing in the league is below league 2 level so it is plausible he could do well and be an upgrade on what we have
Your talking about a goal keeper that couldn't cut it in the lower leagues of the UK and for some miracles reason will do well in the A-League? Just another typical Bris Roar signing player that is NPL at best.

npl level keeping is even lower. The league is mostly league 1 level but the keeping is really low level. I would actually expect him to be middle of the pack despite not cutting it in lower english leagues
