I'm making this thread in case Aberdeen do a Leicester city. They drew with Celtic and are on equal points with them. Also on top of rangers imagine if they can keep it up

Would be more of an Atletico (with a much larger break) in the grand scheme of things surely?

Do they have the resources athleico has?
Well.. Aberdeen has won the Scottish league before (albeit last time 40 years ago), and has never been relegated. Would say they are closer to Celtic in terms of resources and standing than Leicester were at the time to Chelsea/Manchester City

Celtic have spent over £30 million in the summer window, Aberdeen spent just over £1 million. The margin is massive.

Anyways rangers lost it's a very interesting title race now which ever way you look at it

Rangers are downsizing due to financial issues. Celtic will win the league at a canter. Aberdeen wont have the depth to sustain their run over the full season however they're a slight chance at finishing above Rangers due to a strong manager.

I agree while Aberdeen have been a breath of fresh air this season, as we saw earlier the squad isn't ready to go all the way. Rangers are on a downward spiral and Celtic have the best British manager there is in Brendan Rodgers. But it's all about the Champions League for Celtic....

Getting into the knock out stages of the CL will be the yardstick for measuring whether Celtic are having a proper successful season.

Ange Postecoglou was due some credit for re-establishing Celtic as the strongest force in Scotland but the ambitions of manager or club cannot end there. Has Rodgers got the coaching and management skillset to supersede Ange and take Celtic deep into the knock out stages?

I think so.

He's obviously not in Guardiola, Arteta or Emery class but better than the previous Celtic manager.

I really like the Scottish league even though everyone takes the piss. Celtic to strong for Aberdeen but they are really trying

I think they're trying to avoid that which is why downsizing is necessary. Their fans wont like it but they'll have to just deal with it.
That looks to be over, with the 49ers buying a 51% stake in the club.

Is Kevin Muscat on his way to Ibrox?

The newspapers seem to think so...

Imagine a world where Ange stayed at Celtic, against Muscat at Rangers
