Funny the movie actually did poorly at the box office and only attained it's cult status over time.

Yeah its a love letter to the city thats for sure... one of the greats.

Raiders of the Lost Ark Is Spielberg movie mate..... you are on the right track.... he used the film I am talking about as an inspiration for it... in some scenes.... :)
