Not sure where to put this thread

only comment, crowd looked massive....which is weird. Did any of us watch it haha

highlights

If I'm aching for nostalgia I watch some old socceroos games

Yeah I watched it. It should've been during AFL/NRL season and not up against AL, pinching our own viewers and supporters cash.

I think the top tier of the stadium was closed off, below not too bad.

Just wish I saw the great man in his prime. The quality was much better than I expected. Mooy and Cahill look like they could still get a run somewhere.

I was trying to work that out the other day for the "introduce yourself" thread haha. I think mid to late 90s?? But I meant that I wish I saw Ronaldinho in person in his prime. Him, Ronaldo, Zindane, Schmeichel, Beckham, Henry, Del Piero etc... a golden era for the entire sport! There aren't many players I can take to these days.

Yeah I think the dominance systems philosophy has made for less variety for fans. Unless Brazil club football grows big enough to challenge europe it is hard to see that changing. I guess the sport does change all the time mind you

What exactly is the Joga Bonito tour? They'll go around for exhibition games? Lots of references to the kids. Charity or something? A big shame this was on 10 and not the A League and the crowd appeared larger and many Brazilians there.

Ronaldinho, first a bitcoin criminal, then forged documents, now he's theiving the populace.
